One of the good things that came up with the quarantine is that we started enjoying the little things to the fullest. We began to appreciate simple moments like drinking a crisp glass of wine with melodies accompanying our sunsets or a phone call to a friend of a family member just to see how they are.
But what has been our reference the last three months, for most of us, is the music, our company these days which was and still is our friend in good and hard time, especially lately where we focused on the lyrics more than ever.
Therefore there was a band that caught my attention the last months and specially because their song “Far From Home” spoke to my hurt more than ever before since it’s the first time i’m so far from mine and i couldn’t do anything about it due to the circumstances. But i’m sure Amistat know better about missing someone.
Born in Germany and raised in Italy with parents originating from Czech Republic and Australia, they eventually moved to Australia to make their music dream come true. Their songs were and still are on the loop on my radio and my Spotify, because of their positiveness and the good vibes they deliver.
Listening to Amistat you can feel their meaningful vibes, their pure sounds made with love and their great energy especially when watching them live.
With their strong and special brotherhood and their passion on what they do, they aim to “speak” to their people through their songs and deliver the most motivational and impulsive meaning which comes through their soul.
We might have missed the best summer gigs this year and the chance to enjoy Amistat live somewhere out there, but thank God digital world saved us “by the bell” and kept the feeling alive before going back to public gigs bliss.
The twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil talked about their great story behind their music career but also about their heritage, their music background, their inspiration and their future dreams.
I must admit though that they accepted my invitation with no second thoughts and honored this interview with some of their great songs unplugged. Genuine voices, guitar tunes, indie-folk/pop sounds and purposeful lyrics who speak the truth is all you need for this summer.
It would be even better for their music to be enjoyed next to a campfire on the beach but you can still enjoy them by clicking below where you can still create your own ideal mindset or scenery and reach the absolute moment.
p.s Check out their latest “Live Album” which is already being released and their great documentary “Music From The Heart”.
